Financial Folios
What is a Folio? A structured portfolio of securities designed to meet a specific objective. A Folio may consist of Stocks, Bonds, and Mutual Funds.
What is a Financial Folio? Financial Folios are portfolios that we specifically designed to meet the unique investment needs of our clients. Currently, we offer a series of 10 different Core Folios. Each of our Core Folios consists of a basket of 10-15 institutional index-based mutual funds. Each of the 10 Core Folios utilizes a strategic asset allocation model that finds the optimum portfolio return while minimizing risk.
How do Financial Folios work? When a client first comes to us, we discuss his or hers investment objectives, financial needs, and risk tolerance. From this information, we can ascertain which Folio best fits their financial situation. Then, we purchase the funds in the Folio according to its allocation mix. We balance the Folios every year at the end of the calendar year to keep the Folios consistent with their objectives. With Folios, there is no constant buying and selling, which makes them very cost effective- less trades equal less transaction costs. We offer a Folio to every type of investor, from the most conservative to the most aggressive. Any time a security enters or leaves a Folio, we disclose this change to our clients at the start of every year. The clients can also view the holdings of our Folios in the "Folios" section in our website.
